Finalizada no dia 27 de janeiro, a Semana de Clássicos de Punta del Este 2023, evento que reuniu barcos icônicos, chega ao fim com VDS em segundo lugar com o “Madrugada” na categoria Spirit of Tradition. Foram concluídos os circuitos de Playa Mansa e a Vuelta Gorriti, formando os resultados finais que garantiram o pódio do VDS.

 

Com 13.2 milhas, o circuito de Playa Mansa iniciou às 13h do dia 26 de janeiro em largada única, os ventos aumentaram durante o percurso, vindos de sul-sudeste mudando para sudeste, a variação foi de 8 e 14 nós. O “Madrugada”, do comandante Niels Rump, finalizou em terceiro lugar no tempo 02:33:30, já o “Atrevida”, de Alexandre Ferrari, foi quarto colocado na categoria Vintage – Classe A, com a marca de 02:14:24.

A tradicional Vuelta Gorriti, com 11.6 milhas, encerrou o campeonato em clima festivo, com 22 barcos ilustres e mais de 200 tripulantes, o último dia iniciou às 13:15 da sexta-feira (27) e proporcionou ventos fracos de 6.5 nós. Vivendo seu centenário, o “Atrevida” conquistou 39 e 16 pontos na categoria Vintage Geral e Série A, respectivamente. O lendário “Madrugada” somou 10 pontos ao longo da competição, levando o segundo lugar na categoria Spirit of Tradition.
